MY QURANIC EDUCATION JOURNEY – FOUNDER'S STORY
Life is a journey filled with challenges, blessings, and moments of growth. My name is Muhammad Usman, and I am honored to teach the Quran and Islamic Studies. Over the past nine years, Alhamdulillah, more than 1,000 students have completed their courses with us.

I am grateful to share my story with you—a story of faith, perseverance, and dedication. It’s a journey that began in modest circumstances and has blossomed into a mission to disseminate the teachings of the Quran and Islamic knowledge to people worldwide.
A Humble Start
I was born in 1993 in Multan, Pakistan, into a family of limited means. My father, a devoted soldier in the army, worked tirelessly to provide for our family of six siblings.
We lived in a rental home in a village, and my father’s duty often kept him away, stationed in various cities. Despite the financial struggles, our home was filled with love, faith, and gratitude.
As a child, I attended school up to the fifth grade. It was after this that my life took a significant turn. At the age of 15, I embarked on the sacred journey of memorizing the Holy Quran. Living in Wah Cantt at the time, a small city near Rawalpindi, I devoted myself fully to this goal. Alhamdulillah, with Allah’s blessings, I completed the memorization of the Holy Quran in just one and a half years.
Pursuit of Knowledge
However, this phase of life was not without its challenges. Living in the hostel was difficult, as I missed my family deeply. Yet, this separation fueled my determination to succeed. I immersed myself in my studies, completing my Matric and F.A. levels while mastering Islamic subjects, including Quranic translation and explanation, Arabic grammar, Fiqh, and Hadith.
Higher Education and Personal Growth
Parallel to my academic pursuits, I developed a keen interest in technology. I explored basic computer skills, social media marketing, and content creation. These newfound abilities would later play a pivotal role in my mission.
How Online Alfurqan Academy Started
In 2016, I started the “Alfurqan Academy” by making a Facebook page. I began recording and sharing videos on YouTube to help people learn how to read the Quran with Tajweed and understand its rules. The feedback was very positive. People liked the way I taught and asked me to keep going. Alhamdulillah, as more people showed interest, I brought in other teachers and made video lessons so everyone could learn in the same way.
Today, by the grace of Allah, we are a team of 10 dedicated teachers, serving over 200 students through one-on-one online classes. Our flexible scheduling allows students to learn at their convenience, making Quranic education accessible to all.
A Message of Hope and Gratitude
Looking back on this journey, I feel truly grateful for how far Allah has brought me. I started in a small village, and now, by Allah’s grace, the Online Alfurqan Academy is reaching people around the world. This journey shows what faith, effort, and trust in Allah can do.
To anyone reading this: no matter where you come from, if you work hard and trust Allah, you can achieve amazing things. Life is full of chances to grow, learn, and help others.
